Allied Global Engineering and sister company UK Business Capital Partners Founding Partner, Phil Jepson, has been named 'Manufacturing Hero' by the distinguished Made in the Midlands Group, for the work he has done with EGL Vaughan in contributing to the manufacturing and engineering industry.
This comes shortly after EGL Vaughan was awarded 'Best Precision Machining Specialists by SME News Enterprise awards. Despite Allied Global acquiring EGL Vaughan in 2020, a notoriously difficult year for all businesses across almost all industries, EGL Vaughan has seen exponential growth over the last year, resulting in a move in warehouses to a larger space, and acquiring multiple new machines.
Phil has a strong, unwavering belief in the power and quality of British engineering and manufacturing, and has managed to lead the Allied Global and EGL Vaughan team through the Global Pandemic to meet numerous milestones, take on new and exciting projects, and keep hundreds of jobs safe, and source new business in incredibly uncertain times.
This honour comes at an exciting time for Phil and the Allied Global Engineering team, as they've just acquired their newest member of the Allied team, XL Engineering. It's a positive way to begin 2021, and sets the tone for the rest of the year.
